Ansu Fati's departure to Monaco and Clement Lenglet's departure to Atletico Madrid have been confirmed after the Real Madrid club bought out the French defender's contract after a loan spell with the club. Today, it looks like Barcelona are about to say goodbye to another young player.

After finding it difficult to get enough minutes under Hans flick's plans, Pablo Torre was looking for a new experience away from the Catalan club, and now he has found it, as Real Mallorca have made an official offer of €5 million, which Barcelona seem to have accepted.

A share of the future sale of the player in favour of Barcelona

After it was confirmed by transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano that the deal was done for €5 million, it was also clarified that there is an additional clause in the contract to receive 50 per cent of the sale of the player in the future, should Real Mallorca decide to sell him in the future.

Pablo Torre’s time at Barcelona is coming to an end, with RCD Mallorca securing the young midfielder’s signature in a permanent deal worth €5 million. The agreement, confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, includes a key detail: Barça will retain a 50% sell-on clause, ensuring they benefit if Torre’s value rises in the future.

Despite showing flashes of promise whenever given the opportunity, the 22-year-old Spaniard struggled for consistent playing time under Hansi Flick. With competition fierce in Barcelona’s midfield, Torre’s departure seemed inevitable—especially after the exits of Clement Lenglet and Ansu Fati earlier this summer.

Why Mallorca Won the Race

Several La Liga clubs expressed interest, but Mallorca moved fastest, sealing the deal before rivals could intervene. There was a brief moment of uncertainty when Ajax and Marseille tried to hijack the transfer, but Torre ultimately chose to remain in Spain.

What’s Next?

The move is expected to be finalized in the coming days, allowing Torre to join Mallorca’s preseason in time for their July 10 return. For Barcelona, this marks another step in reshaping their squad, while Torre gets the fresh start he needs to reignite his career.
