The German giants and German football's perennial also rans are all set to do battle this evening at Signal Iduna Park. Nuri Sahin's BVB will be hoping to continue their fine home form this year and make a statement against Vincent Kompany's record champions, who already have a commanding lead in first place with just over one third of the season finished
Sahin makes two changes to the XI he deployed midweek in the Champions' League. Julian Brandt and Donyell Malen are replaced by Julian Ryerson and Serhou Guirassy. Pascal Groß is likely move into midfield to take Brandt's place while Maximilian Beier slides back to take over for Malen. Sahin will probably maintain his 4-1-4-1
Kompany goes with just one change to his Champions' League team. Mathys Tel earns a surprise start over Kingsley Coman on the wing. Tel earns just his second league start of the season. In all likelihood, the visiting Bavarians will stick with a 4-2-3-1.
Dortmund (4-1-4-1):
Kobel - Ryerson, Anton, N. Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini - F. Nmecha - Sabitzer, P. Groß - Beier, Gittens - Guirassy
Bayern (4-2-3-1):
Neuer - Laimer, Upamecano, M.-J. Kim, Davies - Kimmich, Goretzka - Olise, Musiala, Tel - Kane
