Moise Kean’s future at Fiorentina remains uncertain, but president Rocco Commisso is preparing to make one last, decisive push to convince the striker to stay in Florence beyond this season.
The two met in Cagliari a month ago, during a team’s retreat ahead of a Serie A postponed match, establishing a relationship built on mutual respect and appreciation. They agreed to resume talks after the season finale, and with the curtain set to fall after Viola’s clash at Udinese this weekend, a crucial conversation about the striker’s prospects now looms.

Kean’s performances under Raffaele Palladino have been nothing short of transformative – with 24 goals across all competitions, he has reclaimed a starring role in Serie A and earned a recall to the Italian national team.
While the former Juventus forward is grateful towards Fiorentina for believing in him when few others did, his ambition could complicate matters, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Fiorentina’s likely return to the Conference League may not align with Kean’s goals, particularly with the 2026 World Cup on the horizon. Moreover, a €52m release clause valid from July 1 to 15 ensures that suitors will come calling, with several clubs, including from the Premier League, having already expressed their interest.
Commisso knows the significance of the moment, and he is reportedly ready to present a project that matches Kean’s ambitions—not only financially, but also in sporting terms. Fiorentina must convince Kean that they can fight for more than a third-tier European trophy next season in order to outweigh the temptation of bigger stages.
