A total of 45 players are at risk of missing the Club World Cup semi-finals, including seven from Chelsea, six from Bayern Munich, and six from Borussia Dortmund

Players receive a one-game ban after picking up two bookings.

Moises Caicedo and Jobe Bellingham have already fallen victim to the rule, earning suspensions for their respective quarter-final matches after collecting two bookings in earlier rounds.

FIFA wipe the slate clean after the quarter-finals. So, a player effectively has to avoid two yellow cards in his first five appearances to avoid a ban.

A red card at any stage of the Club World Cup will result in a one-match ban.
