Sturm Graz sporting director Andreas Schicker has confirmed that the club will meet with Arsenal next week to discuss a permanent deal for Danish striker Mika Biereth. The 21-year-old has been on loan at Sturm Graz since January, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 22 appearances.

“Yes, we want to try to get Mika permanently,” Schicker told Kurier. “We have an appointment with Arsenal next week. Perhaps they will present a price that is manageable for us.”

Schicker also indicated that Sturm Graz is willing to “push their limits” to secure Biereth‘s services, highlighting the club’s strong desire to keep the talented striker.
