A host of City youngsters across our Under-18s, Elite Development Squad and senior team have been called up for international duty for their respective countries ahead of November’s fixtures.
James McAtee and Callum Doyle, who is currently on loan at Championship outfit Norwich, have been named in the England Under-21 squad for their friendly games against Spain (Friday 15 November) and the Netherlands (Monday 18 November).
Meanwhile, Nico O’Reilly, Jacob Wright, Max Alleyne and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey have all been named in the England U20 squad who will compete in the U20 Elite League. First, they will take on Germany on Friday 15 November on home soil before a trip to Poland on Tuesday 19 November.
Emilio Lawrence has been named on standby for the squad.
In the group below, Matty Warhurst, Matty Henderson-Hall, Lakyle Samuel and Justin Oboavwoduo have all been named on standby for England Under-19s.
They have three qualifiers against Lithuania, Bulgaria and Belgium on 13 November, Saturday 16 November and 19 November respectively.
EDS defender Stephen Mfuni and Under-18s centre-back Kian Noble and ‘keeper Oliver Whatmuff have been selected for England U18s.
They have an international fixture camp which will take place in Spain. They take on Poland on Friday 15 November and Germany or Belgium on Monday 18 November.
Divine Mukasa, Luca Fletcher and Leke Drake are on standby.
Finally for the England representatives, Reigan Heskey, Kaden Braithwaite, Ryan McAidoo and Harrison Miles will all travel to Belgium for England U17s.
Their international camp will see them take on Belgium back-to-back on Friday 15 November and Monday 18 November.
Michael Okeke has been called up to represent Hungary Under-21s again, looking to participate in friendlies against Cyprus on Thursday 14 November and Greece on Thursday 21 November.
Farid Alfa-Ruprecht is on standby for Germany Under-19s who have U19 Euro qualifiers against Andorra, Cyprus and Hungary on Tuesday 12 November, Friday 15 November and Monday 18 November respectively.
