Celtic FC Women maintained their 100 per cent record on the road in the league this campaign, as they ran out comfortable 5-0 winners over Hamilton Accies on Sunday.
Each member of the squad has played their part in that run, which sees the Hoops sitting just one point off top, having only dropped points in one fixture all season.
A player who has played her part in each of those fixtures is defender Chloe Craig, who in turn has made an impressive start to the season in front of goal.
Against Hamilton Accies, Craig scored her ninth goal of the campaign after scoring from the spot at the beginning of the second half.
Speaking to Celtic TV in the aftermath of the match, the centre-back reflected on what was another great performance from Fran Alonso’s squad.
She said: “It was a good team performance. I think we dominated the game, we had pretty much most of the possession.
'So it was just about trying to break them down and work through the gaps that we created.'
“I think with us as a team, when we get one goal they kind of roll off. So it was about getting that initial first goal, get the head down and then back to 0-0. So we keep going from there.”
Although Craig is delighted to play her part by getting on the scoresheet once again in South Lanarkshire, she is keen to stress it is ultimately about the team and the end goal.
Impressively, the goals were once again spread throughout the squad, with five different scorers getting their name on the scoresheet against the Accies.
Craig believes that just goes to show that quality that this Celtic side possesses, with players in the starting line-up and coming off the bench making their impact on the game.
“I’ve said it before, it’s not really about the individual goals for me. It’s more of a team goal,” she said.
‘But if I’m on the scoresheet then that is good for me, but it’s also beneficial for the team.’
“It’s good that we’ve got variation on the scoresheet. It’s not just one or two people getting the goals. But it just goes to show the quality that we have throughout the entire squad.”
As a one-time Academy graduate herself, Chloe Craig is well-aware of that feeling off making her first-team debut for the Hoops.
So to see another fellow defender and Academy prospect make their debut for the Celts on Sunday, in Olivia McStay, was a great moment for the entire squad.
Reflecting on that moment, Craig said: “It’s great to see another Academy player make their debut. Especially when they’ve been up training with us and they’ve earned that spot.
“I know what it’s like, and I’ve been there. We are all proud of her and I’m sure there is even more to come.”
