Guadalajara Femenil continues its progress in the tournament and is already preparing to face the Semifinals, a stage in which it will face América in another edition of the Clasico de Mexico. Of course, the road has not been easy for our Red and White players, who have had to overcome different obstacles to reach this stage.

One of the keys to the good moment that the team coached by Antonio Contreras is going through is defensive solidity, so today we want to recap what a brilliant tournament Chivas Femenil has had in this regard. Not only did they finish the regular phase of the Clausura 2025 as the best backline, but they also improved considerably on the records of the previous tournament.

As we mentioned earlier, the Rebaño Femenil was the best defense in the tournament, conceding just 10 goals in 17 games. However, even more interesting is the fact that Guadalajara is the only team that closed the Quarterfinals without conceding a single goal.

Chivas Femenil played 19 matches during the previous tournament, the same number they have accumulated in the current Clausura 2025. In the Apertura 2024, the red-and-whites had allowed 32 goals at this point, while today they have only conceded 10. The Rebaño's evolution throughout the semester has been of this magnitude, so there is no doubt that a large part of the aspirations of the team coached by Antonio Contreras are based on the tremendous defensive solidity they have developed.
