Federico Chiesa admits he has already discussed a contract extension with Juventus and wants to ‘stay’ at the club but refuses to talk about Massimiliano Allegri’s future.

Chiesa spoke at a press conference attended by Football Italia on Wednesday night after winning the Coppa Italia with the Bianconeri.

“The Coppa Italia and reaching the Champions League were the targets. I’ve spoken about the renewal with the director and we’ll talk about it at the end of the season,” he said.

“We’ll sit down calmly, discuss our projects, and continue talking.”

Chiesa’s contract runs out in June 2025 but Juventus are reportedly planning to offer a new one-year deal with the same salary.

“I want to stay at this big club and bring Juventus back where it belongs,” said the Italian striker.

“We’ve won the Coppa Italia, and I am happy for the fans after difficult months in which the Serie A title slipped away from our hands. We’ll try to get revenge.”

Chiesa has had disagreements with coach Allegri this season and was asked whether he expects the coach to be sacked at the end of the campaign.

“These are evaluations the club must make. You must ask them,” he replied.

“Our evaluation is that we reached the objectives. We are disappointed because the Scudetto was a dream that disappeared too soon.”

This is the third trophy Chiesa has won for Juventus and the second Coppa Italia at the club.

“I had lifted at the Mapei Stadium for the first time, but the atmosphere was amazing tonight,” he said.

“It is amazing to play for Juventus. To see a full Curva like this tonight is a memory I’ll always bring inside myself.”

Lastly, talking about the Euros, the Italy international said: “I must wait for the mister [Spalletti] and I am available.”

Chiesa, 26, has eight goals and three assists in 35 appearances across all competitions this season.
