A Chelsea transfer target has posted a cryptic image with an hourglass emoji on Instagram this week as a move could happen.

Chelsea continue to be linked with wanting to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho this summer, and it’s been a story that will just not disappear even though many Chelsea fans are dead against this move happening. It sounds like they might just have to get used to it and accept it though, because despite fan view, the club seem to be going all steam ahead to sign the controversial player.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea offered chance to sign Premier League centre back and it’s not Marc Guehi!

There’s been question marks around his attitude and personality, but that does not appear to be putting Chelsea off signing him this window.

I’m assuming Chelsea need to sell a few more players before they can get a deal to sign Garnacho done, and it looks like the player is just waiting for Chelsea to agree a deal with United so he can make his expected move to Stamford Bridge in the closing weeks of this summer transfer window.

As you can see above, Garnacho has a picture of himself with his head in his hands along with an hourglass emoji as if he is just frustratingly counting down the minutes until he can leave United and join Chelsea.

That is obviously just an assumption made by me, the post could mean absolutely anything. But I’d suspect that it is all to do with his future and a pending move to Chelsea very soon now.

Fans will welcome him

Even though many do not want Chelsea to sign him, I am sure that fans will welcome Garnacho to Chelsea if it does happen and back him regardless. At least that is what they should all be doing.
