Chelsea are now reportedly locked in talks to sign a new attacker who has already come up with 16 goal involvements this season.

The Blues are expected to be busy now this summer, and we have had plenty of updates floating around this morning already.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest YouTube video at the weekend with a bunch of info in that. The main takeaway was Romano saying Chelsea are going to be in the market for a new striker, a centre back, and a winger in the summer.

And there has also been a lot of noise regarding Jadon Sancho and whether Chelsea will actually be signing him from Manchester United permanently in the summer or not. The Athletic are reporting that there is a £5m break clause fee that Chelsea can pay to send him back and terminate the loan obligation to buy.

So there is plenty of transfer stuff now starting to come in as we get towards the summer transfer window in a few months time!

Chelsea in talks for Williams

According to an exclusive report from TBR Football this week, Chelsea have moved themselves into contention to sign Athletic Bilbao and Spain star Nico Williams.

Chelsea have ‘engaged in talks’ with Williams’ entourage, who are now fully aware of the club’s interest.

The report goes on to say that The Blues would have little concern about meeting William’s asking price which is just under £50m owing to a release clause in his contract.

I don’t personally think Chelsea would pay his wage demands that I believe would be very high, so I think we can shelve this one.
