Chelsea are reportedly now interested in bringing back one of their former goalkeepers during this summer’s transfer window.

Chelsea beat Benfica in the first set of knockout rounds in the Club World Cup on Saturday night, but it was far from easy and also, very far from drama!

Sources: Chelsea still looking to sign West Ham star despite agreeing deal to bring Joao Pedro in!

Enzo Maresca labelled it a joke that the game got suspended for two hours due to sever weather conditions and slammed the tournament location as a result, and he really does have a point here.

And then came a flurry of late goal with Benfica equalising deep into stoppage time through a penalty to send it into extra time. Chelsea then bagged a bunch of goals to go on and win the game before it got to penalties!

Chelsea continue to be linked with new goalkeepers

We already know that Chelsea have tried to sign Mike Maignan this window and we don’t believe that one is fully over yet either. But they continue to get linked with new goalkeeper names despite the media perhaps playing this all down and claims made that this isn’t a position that the club will look to sign in.

They clearly want a new goalkeeper this window still.

Bulka back?

Marcin Bulka playing for Nice.

Marcin Bulka used to be at Chelsea as a young player but he’s now playing in Ligue 1 in France. However, The Blues are eyeing bringing him back.

According to Caught Offside, Chelsea and Manchester United have shown an interest in Marcin Bulka as they could rival the likes of Aston Villa and Newcastle United for the goalkeeper. There are a lot of possibilities for the Polish stopper who seems destined to leave OGC Nice in this window.
