Chelsea are set to meet with the entourage of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho again this week according to journalist Uriel Lugt.
The Blues have been busy this summer and have already made four summer signings in Jorrel Hato, Liam Delap, Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.
Chelsea are also working on a deal for Xavi Simons, and are believed to be in advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig, who are said to want a total package of £60m.
However, if a deal for Simons gets done, he might not be the last attacker to arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.
Chelsea have been linked with Garnacho since January, and links with the Argentine have continued throughout the summer.

Garnacho is said to have made Chelsea his top priority, and it’s thought there won’t be any issues in regards to personal terms.
The expectation is Chelsea will make an offer this month, although it’s been reported the Blues don’t want to pay more than £30m for the 21-year-old.
Garnacho scored 11 goals and registered ten assists in 58 appearances for United last season, and Lugt has provided an update on Chelsea’s pursuit.
He took to X.com and said:
“#Chelsea aims to move forward with Alejandro Garnacho.
“Conversations with the player’s entourage are taking place. They will meet again this week.
“The footballer wants to join the London club.”
Before any move for Garnacho, Chelsea’s main priority is closing a deal for Simons, with negotiations still ongoing with Leipzig.
Simons wants to join Chelsea, and it’s thought an agreement on personal terms is close, but the Blues are yet to make an official offer.

The expectation is a deal gets agreed and Simons will become a Chelsea player, but it certainly feels like negotiations are dragging on.
Simons, who can play both on the left and as a number ten would be a great fit for Enzo Maresca’s system, as well as another exciting attacking option.
