The Addicks announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
The 50-year-old was appointed Charlton Athletic boss back in March 2021 and she has built one of the strongest sides in Barclays WSL2. When Hills arrived at The Valley four years ago, she was tasked with developing a full-time Charlton Athletic squad after the club opted to make the switch from part-time operations. Hills completed that challenge and she has seen her side flirt with promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League in recent seasons.
Under Hills’ guidance, Charlton Athletic have always recorded top half of the table finishes in Barclays WSL2. Their best performance came in 2023/2024 when they finished as runners-up, narrowly surrendering top spot to South London rivals Crystal Palace. With potentially three promotion places up for grabs in 2025/2026, Hills’ new deal is hugely important for The Addicks.
After signing on again with Charlton Athletic, Hills said “Coaching this team is a privilege, extending my contract means extending my commitment to the players, the supporters, and the vision we’re all working towards.”
The length of Hills’ new deal with Charlton Athletic has been left undisclosed by the club.
