Manchester United are first up in the Barclays Women’s Super League this Sunday, giving the Reds an opportunity to at least temporarily further extend their advantage over Manchester City.
It is down to the last five rounds of matches in the WSL, with Chelsea eight-points clear at the top before hosting West Ham in Sunday’s late kick off.
Arsenal and Manchester United have a chance to apply a little pressure, with the Red Devils entertaining Everton in a noon start and the Gunners away to basement side Crystal Palace at 2pm.
Manchester City are seven points off the Champions League places and need to get back to winning ways when on the road at fifth-placed Brighton.
Leicester City are six points from danger ahead of taking on Tottenham, whom they would leapfrog in the table with a victory.
Aston Villa are just a single point in front of the bottom team and travel to Liverpool in search of a positive result.
London City will go top of the Championship if they win a difficult fixture away to Newcastle United, this being their game in hand on leaders Birmingham City.
Charlton Athletic are five points behind the Lionesses and also on a testing trip to the north east to face Sunderland.
Portsmouth’s improved form now has them three points away from danger but they next have a difficult fixture at Durham.
Bristol City have home advantage over basement side Sheffield United, while Blackburn Rovers are two points better off than the Blades and hosting Southampton on Saturday lunchtime.
