Championship (1ère journée) : Southampton débute par un succès | OneFootball

La 1ère journée de la saison 2023-2024 du Championship a débuté hier avec la rencontre entre Sheffield Wednesday et Southampton. L’ancien club de Premier League a bien débuté sa saison en s’imposant (1-2).

Southampton est donc allé s’imposer à Hillsborough en ouverture de la 1ère journée du Championship. Les Saints ont rapidement ouvert la marque en début de rencontre grâce à Amstrong. Sheffield Wednesday est revenu au score en début de seconde période. Mais c’est l’ex-club de Premier League qui a eu le dernier mot grâce à un but inscrit par Adams en fin de rencontre.
