Celtic’s Premier Sports Cup Draw, where to watch, teams & dates | OneFootball

Celtic will discover their Premier Sports Cup Quarter Final opponents this evening. The draw takes places after Rangers host Alloa Athletic at Ibrox this evening.

Celtic secured their passage into the hat with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Premiership side Falkirk at Celtic Park and are the first name into the hat for the next round.

Greenock Morton host Aberdeen, Partick Thistle play Ayr United while there’s an all Premiership affair in Paisley as Derek McInnes’ Hearts face St Mirren. St Johnstone and Motherwell conclude the 3pm KOs today.

Celtic will discover their opponents after the Rangers game with the draw taking place upon conclusion of the 5:45pm KO. The draw will be shown live on Premier Sports.

That means that both Livi v Hibs and Kilmarnock v Dundee Utd go into the games knowing who they’ll play in the next round.

Quarter-final ties are due to be played on the weekend of September 20/21.

Celtic will be keen to ensure their passage to Hampden in the hunt to retain the League Cup trophy. There are potentially some tricky ties in there but Celtic have the opportunity to kick back and relax as they’ve done their bit and now it is for others to get to work to join them in the hat.
