Celtic host Dundee on Wednesday evening in the Scottish Premiership. The Scottish Champions know that they can go thirteen points clear over Rangers with a win over Tony Docherty’s side. However, last month’s draw at Dens Park will prove that Celtic need to be clinical to see off the Dees.
Here are five match facts from One Football about the clash.
1. Celtic have been excellent at home this season and have won their last seven home games with an aggregate score of 23-0. Neil Lennon’s Celtic made it 9 games in a row without conceding back in 2014.
2. Celtic have won 20 of their last 22 home games against Dundee in all competitions since a 0-2 defeat in May 2001 (when the league was already secured). In their last six meetings, Celtic have an aggregate score of 24-3 and will be keen to add to that today but most importantly, record three points.
3. Dundee have failed to win against Celtic in 45 attempts (L38 & D7) but they’ll take heart from the fact that they broke a record from October 1988 in scoring 3+ goals against Celtic last month.

4. Despite their 6-0 thrashing at the hands of Hearts at the weekend, Dundee have won their last two away games and will be eager to frustrate Celtic.
5. After scoring in last month’s draw with a cracking header, Luke McCowan is the last player to score for and against the same side in the Scottish Premiership since ex-Celt Tony Watt in 2021/22.
The game kicks off at 7:45pm (Celtic Park Time) and will be available on PPV for fans that are unable to make it across to Paradise for the rearranged game.
