Celtic TV captures the Champions' post-match reaction from Rugby Park

Brendan Rodgers’ side produced a stunning performance to beat Kilmarnock 5-0 at Rugby Park and clinch the league title.

And the Celtic manager thanked the Celtic supporters for their backing throughout what he admitted had been a very tough and difficult campaign.

Speaking to Celtic TV after the game, he said: “It feels great. It’s obviously been a lot of managing over the course of the season in various aspects, but we’ve just got better and better, and under the pressure of the last couple of months the players have been absolutely brilliant.

"And what a way to clinch the title. It was an incredible performance, especially in the first half – the tempo, the speed of our game and the creativity, it was fantastic.

"This is what makes Celtic unique – the connection between the players and the supporters – and when we are like that, we’re such a strong force.

“So they created an incredible atmosphere right the way through from the first minute – they sang their hearts out, gave everything, and you could see what happens – the players respond.

“So now we can get back to Celtic Park, we want to finish with another really good performance and then Trophy Day will be a fantastic day on Saturday.
