Carlo Ancelotti hails ‘incredible’ Real Madrid pair after Rayo clash | OneFootball

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Sunday evening moved to lavish praise on two members of his midfield ranks.

This comes owing to their respective performances in Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Rayo Vallecano.

Los Blancos were of course back in action earlier this evening, welcoming Rayo to the Santiago Bernabéu for a La Liga showdown.

When all was said and done, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops emerged 2-1 victors, owing to goals on the part of star attackers Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Jr.

As alluded to above, though, post-match, it was another two members of his squad whom Real Madrid’s headmaster was keen to single out for special adulation.

Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle in Spain’s capital, Ancelotti highlighted the performances of midfield duo Luka Modrić and Aurélien Tchouaméni as nothing short of ‘incredible’:

“The duo of Modrić and Tchouaméni was incredible today. Very good.”
