The Confederation of African Football officially unveiled the brand-new trophy for the TotalEnergies CAF CHAN PAMOJA 2024 on August 1, 2025. African football legends Victor Wanyama, Denis Onyango, and Mrisho Ngasa participated in the official reveal in a special video.
CAF has lifted the curtain on the official trophy for the 2024 African Nations Championship on the eve of the tournament’s kick-off, scheduled from August 2 to August 30, 2025, and hosted jointly by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. This new gem is part of a comprehensive overhaul of the visual identity for the TotalEnergies CAF CHAN PAMOJA 2024.
"With its sleek and contemporary design, the trophy combines gold and silver elements, symbolizing both the prestige and the growing stature of the CAF TotalEnergies CHAN. One of the central features of this creation is a set of 54 lines encircling the trophy, each representing a member association on the continent. At its heart is a map of Africa—a powerful symbol of the competition’s pan-African character," describes CAF.
The prize was presented by three iconic East African football figures: Victor Wanyama, former captain of Kenya, Ugandan legend Denis Onyango, and Mrisho Ngasa, former Tanzania international.
