Burnley have completed the surprise signing of Kyle Walker from Manchester City for a fee of £5million including add-ons.
The 96-time capped England international has signed a two-year contract with the newly promoted Clarets, and will work under his former Tottenham teammate Scott Parker at Turf Moor.
The move brings an end to Walker's hugely successful eight-year spell at City, where he won six Premier League titles, the Champions League and several domestic cups. In total, he made 319 appearances for Pep Guardiola, scoring six times.
His final season at the Etihad saw the 35-year-old's form dip like the side he captained, and he departed on loan in January, spending six months with Milan.
However, the San Siro club decided not to sign him. and now Walker returns to the North of England and the Premier League, but at the other end of the table in one of the standout signings of the summer so far.
