Bundesliga „Team of the Season“ – Leverkusen dominates, Bayern represented twice

The Bundesliga „Team of the Season“ has been finalised. EA published the TOTS on Friday. As already suspected in advance, Bayer Leverkusen dominates the top eleven.

There have been numerous rumours and leaks about the Bundesliga „Team of the Season“ within the EA FC 24 community over the past few weeks. Since yesterday, the cat is out of the bag. EA has revealed the secret.

Fans had the chance to vote for the „Team of the Season“ until 22 April in order to select the best team of the 2023/24 season. This team consists of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three strikers. The fans‘ votes are weighted at 40 per cent. This is supplemented by 30 per cent each from the clubs and experts. The vote is organised in cooperation between the DFL/Bundesliga and EA FC 24.

Six Leverkusen professionals are in the Team of the Season

As expected in advance, the Team of the Season is made up of the new champions Bayer Leverkusen. With Jeremie Frimpong, Alejandro Grimaldo, Florian Wirtz, Jonathan Tah, Granit Xhaka and Victor Boniface, the Werkself has six professionals and thus by far the most players.

FC Bayern is represented twice with Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala. Two players from VfB Stuttgart also made it into the top eleven: Serhou Guirassy and Waldemar Anton. Goalkeeper Gregor Kobel is the only BVB professional.

Loïs Openda and Xavi Simons (both RB Leipzig) and the two Dortmund players Nico Schlotterbeck and Donyell Malen are on the substitutes‘ bench.
