Manu’s Game of the Week: Bayern Munich vs Stuttgart

My match of the week is Bayern Munich versus Stuttgart. We were all expecting a big reaction against Man United after Bayern were smashed by Eintracht Frankfurt last week. But rather than a big reaction, Bayern didn’t offer much against the Red Devils. Will we now see a big reaction against Stuttgart on the weekend? Hard to say, with injuries piling up, Bayern look shaded. Stuttgart have shown against Leverkusen that they can go toe-to-toe with the big boys. The only question mark is whether they can do it back-to-back and this time for the full 90 minutes. Either way, this should be a fascinating fixture and a must watch on Sunday.

Manu’s Predictions:

Stefan’s Game of the Week: Bayer Leverkusen vs Eintracht Frankfurt

My game of the weekend has to be Leverkusen playing host to Frankfurt on Sunday. The Eagles clearly have a capacity to cause huge uspets against big teams this season, but are also capable of dropping points against mid-table clubs. I suspect they’ll bring their A game against Leverkusen and it will be up to Xabi Alonso’s undefeated side to match that. I think they will and should win this game, but it’ll be a tight and fascinating clash.
