Manu’s Game of the Week: Stuttgart vs Bayer Leverkusen

My match of the week is Stuttgart against Leverkusen. Once again it is a Sunday match that stands out and once again it involves Bayer Leverkusen. Die Werkself have been fantastic under Xabi Alonso so much so that teams like Dortmund now rely on defensive football to get a result. The same can’t be expected from high flying Stuttgart, who will try to take this game to Leverkusen. With the Cannstadter Kurve in its back, VfB will try to play attacking football and that might actually favour Alonso’s side a bit.

Stefan’s Game of the Week: Borussia Dortmund vs RB Leipzig

My match of the week has to be the clash between Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. Both teams look far from their best right now and risk dropping out of the title race and top four entirely if they don’t turn their form around fast. Not to mention the added pressure on both head coaches. But when it comes to a must win to fight off his critics, Edin Terzić will definitely be feeling more of the pressure. Either way, it should prove to be an excellent game.
