United will be aiming to lift a sixth European title and will be hoping the support of their fans can propel them over the finishing line.

15,000 Reds from all over the world will be in the stadium and many more have travelled to Bilbao to do their bit to push the team to victory.

A surfer banner is a huge flag with a message on it that is designed to be passed on by members of the crowd at large sporting events.

The appearance of the banner will be kept secret from the players before they step onto the pitch with the exception of Fernandes.

He also played a role in the successful design of Tifo’s ahead of the quarter final against Olympique Lyonnais and the semi-final versus Athletic Club.

The Tifo before the quarter final carried the message “never gonna stop” with images of United’s five previous European trophy lifts.

Ahead of the semi-final second leg at Old Trafford, the Tifo quoted United’s anthem, “take me home, United Road” with the Europa League trophy’s image in the background.

The surfer banner for the final will have an original design and will surely have a similar inspirational message for the players and coaching staff looking to etch their names into the club’s storied tapestry.

It has been created with the help of fans, just like the previous two very successful Tifos used at Old Trafford.
