Peter Bosz has looked ahead to the top match against Feyenoord. The PSV coach will visit De Kuip on Sunday afternoon. There he hopes to keep the title fight with Ajax alive.
“I only look inwards at ourselves”, Bosz said at the PSV press conference. Indirectly pointing at Ajax’s chance to seal the title, and cement their four-point lead with three games to go. “I don’t look at others, because that won’t make us play better football.
“It is a distraction if we are occupied with other matters. We need all our focus to win this match. This is a top match. We are going to attack from the first minute, we are going to play football to win.
“We put that pressure on ourselves. I’m not concerned with what happens on other fields or what the consequences of our performance are. I’m very happy that things are going better again and that we’re entertaining people again. We haven’t done that for a while. The football was really less. We’re playing well again with nice attacks.”
Bosz also responded to statements made by technical director Earnest Stewart, who told Studio Voetbal that he thought PSV had the strongest group of players in the Eredivisie.
“I agree with Earnest Stewart that we have the best selection in the Netherlands. Does it feel like a missed opportunity if we don’t make it? We’re playing three more games, let’s talk about that afterwards.”
