The summer transfer window is still open, and FC Barcelona might want to take advantage of that fact. While the club seems to have signed the players that they needed, certain exit operations still remain on the table. Moving forward, it might be important for Barcelona to close them.
After all, the club’s current priority remains to make sure that all players are registered timely. Before the official season kicks off, the Catalan giants want their players to be ready to take part in games whenever Hansi Flick may need them to.
Thus, it might be important to offload players who are not considered to be important within the grand scheme of things. One such player might just be 18-year-old Spanish right-back Hector Fort, and he could be on his way out this summer.

Now, according to Fichajes, a new development has taken place concerning the Barcelona defender. German side Borussia Dortmund, as per the report, is now interested in his services and is keeping a close eye on the Spaniard.
In fact, the report claims that the Bundesliga side has a rather strong interest in the player. Moreover, considering the German club’s tendency and ability to nurture and develop young talents well, it is not surprising to see the report mention that the destination is appealing for the player.
Previously, it was even reported that Barcelona is open to offloading the player this summer. Thus, a potential move to Dortmund that guarantees him minutes and relevance is something that Fort is reportedly looking at positively. However, Barcelona would have certain conditions in mind as well.
The club does not want to fully lose all control over the player’s future, and the inclusion of certain clauses is important for them. Either through a buy-back clause or a sell-clause, Barcelona want to keep some level of control and influence regarding the Spaniard’s future if he does end up signing for another club.
