Birmingham City full-back Harris signs new deal | OneFootball

Birmingham City full-back Martha Harris has signed a new one-year deal.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from the Blues earlier today.

The 30-year-old joined Birmingham City in summer 2022 after leaving former club Manchester United. The player has gone on to make 28 appearances for the Blues in the Barclays WSL2 in which she has scored two goals. Harris’ development at Birmingham City has been made more difficult by a couple of long-term injuries but the player has bounced back and proved both her fitness and quality.

Harris is a former Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays WSL2 winner and her winning experience will be really important to Birmingham City again next season as they look to finally complete a return to the top tier of the English game.

After signing on again with Birmingham City, Harris said “I’m really excited to be here for another year.

“This is going to be my fourth season here and I feel the club’s getting bigger and better, especially since the new owners have come in and I’ve been able to see the change since my first season here.”
