Lazio veteran Pedro was selected among the best performers from Serie A Round 34 following his superb cameo against Parma.
The Biancocelesti were staring at another defeat at the hands of the Croaciati as they found themselves trailing 0-2 by the start of the second half courtesy of Jacop Ondrejka’s brace. This is when Marco Baroni resorted to the services of the experienced Spaniard, and the latter heeded the call by scoring two late goals that salvaged a point for the Aquile.
Therefore, Ondrejka and Pedro were both selected in WhoScored’s Serie A Team of the Week. The fantasy lineup also included two representatives from Juventus in the shape of Michele Di Gregorio and Renato Veiga who is on loan from Chelsea. These two players helped the Bianconeri preserve their two-goal lead against Monza despite Kenan Yildiz’s dismissal.
