Chelsea prefer not to sell Tyrique George, but he’s looking for first team opportunities next season according to Ben Jacobs.
George is a product of Chelsea’s famed Cobham academy and was promoted to the first team squad last season, along with Josh Acheampong.
The 19-year-old had a breakthrough towards the end of last season and made 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals.
Chelsea have made three attacking signings this summer in Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Jamie Gittens, whilst they are working on deals for both Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons.
The influx of attacking signings have seen George fall down the pecking order, and his chance of regular minutes next season diminish.
It was reported earlier this summer George wanted to leave Chelsea in order to play more regular football, and he felt there were too many attacking players at the club.

Chelsea’s preference is believed to be a loan move for George, who has attracted interest from German club RB Leipzig.
There’s been no mention of a price tag, but Jacobs has provided a further update on the teenager’s Stamford Bridge future.
“Tyrique’s been discussed by Leipzig, Antwerp, Frankfurt, lot of interest in Germany,” he told The London Is Blue Podcast.
“There’ll be Premier League interest as well. Chelsea prefer not to sell, but the player’s looking for first team opportunities, so Chelsea could sanction a sale.”
Whilst George’s future looks like it could lie away from Chelsea, the Blues are pushing ahead with trying to complete deals for Simons and Garnacho.
