Becky Langley wins Manager of the Month award | OneFootball

Newcastle United Women played three fixtures in the month and went unbeaten with a win and two draws.

It started with a resounding 6-0 win against Blackburn Rovers Women at Kingston Park, followed by back-to-back 1-1 draws against Charlton Athletic Women and Birmingham City Women.

It is the first time Langley has won the award having been selected by a League Manager's Association panel of Faye White MBE, Alan Curbishley, Brent Hills, Mollie Kmita, Mo Marley and Jen O'Neill.

Langley said: "It was a great month of work; however, I can't take all the plaudits here. The staff and players have worked incredibly hard throughout the season, the praise must go across the board.

"We have taken points off London City Lionesses, Birmingham City and Charlton Athletic, all above us in the league, so we know we can compete with the best in this division. We will use this as a platform to kick on next season."
