A head-turning statistic, highlighting the ongoing excellence of Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal, has come to the fore on Sunday night.

This comes after Lamine’s latest telling contribution on the international front.

The 17-year-old was afforded a starting berth a short time ago, as Spain locked horns with Switzerland in a Nations League clash.

And, en route to an eventual 4-1 La Roja triumph, Lamine, across just 45 minutes, dazzled once more.

Despite his tender years, the Barcelona youth product, time and time again, continues to prove himself one of Spain’s most important players.

And, as alluded to above, on Sunday, such endeavours have given rise to nothing short of a remarkable statitsic.

As revealed by One Football, Lamine has now managed more direct goal contributions at international level than Real Madrid and Brazil superstar Vinícius Jr.

All told, across 16 appearances in Spain’s colours to date, La Masia’s latest attacking prodigy has racked up 12 goal contributions (3G,9A).

Ballon d’Or favourite Vinícius, meanwhile, has thus far managed just 10 (5G,5A) over the course of his international career.
