Today, Barcelona superstar Robert Lewandowski is celebrating his 37th birthday. Currently in his fourth season with the Blaugrana, the veteran Pole has hardly shown any signs of age catching up with him.
In fact, it would not be wrong to say that the striker has been experiencing a second wind in his career after joining Barcelona.
Now, according to AS, Lewandowski, despite turning 37, feels in top shape and is convinced he can keep scoring and helping Barcelona.
For this season, Barça head coach Hansi Flick has reserved a slightly more secondary role for him, in which he will share minutes and opportunities with Ferran Torres.
The veteran has been told by the manager that he is no longer guaranteed a starting spot, especially with Ferran making the most of his opportunities.

Lewandowski, though, is confident he can still step up and make it count, after enjoying his best season at Barcelona in 2024/25, scoring 42 goals across all competitions.
“They talk a lot about my age, that I’m getting older. But I don’t have a problem with that,” he said recently in an interview. “I’m proud of my age. Experience is important.”
With him, Barcelona have returned to the elite and expanded its trophy cabinet with two La Liga titles, one Copa del Rey and two Spanish Super Cups.
Having recovered from a minor thigh injury, Lewandowski has trained normally this week and will be back in the squad for the Levante game.
However, a spot in the starting lineup might be unlikely, considering that the coaching staff will not want to take any risks with him, given his age.
Despite everything, though, Lewandowski feels strong enough to improve on his numbers from last season.
