Barcelona star names the players who make Hansi Flick’s squad ‘better than last season’ | OneFootball

Barcelona star Ferran Torres has this week revealed his opinion that the Blaugrana’s squad is now an even more complete one, compared to last season.

Barca have of course enjoyed something of an understated summer to date when it comes to financial outlay.

All told, the Catalans have forked out a fee of note just once, to land Joan García from city rivals Espanyol.

Alongside as much, youngster Roony Bardghji has arrived from Copenhagen for a minimal sum, whilst Marcus Rashford has joined on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

Nevertheless, one individual of the opinion that such reinforcements make Barcelona a more complete outfit is the aforementioned Ferran Torres.

Speaking during a post-match interview on the back of his side’s friendly victory over FC Seoul on Thursday, frontman Ferran was asked for his take on the current state of Barca’s squad.

And the Spanish international went on to assure:

“The team is better than last season. Rashford is very strong. Joan is an excellent goalkeeper. He will give us security.”
