A head-turning statistic, comparing the production of Barcelona star Marc Casadó to that of Real Madrid counterpart Jude Bellingham, has on Wednesday come to the fore.

This comes owing to the former’s exploits in Barcelona’s Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course fresh off an outing to remember, which saw them exact revenge on German heavyweights Bayern by way of a 4-1 triumph in Catalunya’s capital.

The aforementioned Casadó, for his part, featured from the off, shining from his berth at the base of midfield throughout the 90 minutes.

The highlight of the Spaniard’s performance came late in the first-half, when Casadó’s pinpoint long-range pass found the feet of Raphinha, who drove on to put the Blaugrana 3-1 up.

This marked the 21-year-old’s third assist of what has proven a hugely impressive breakout campaign.
