The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have opened to the possibility of parting with a member of the club’s midfield ranks this summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Fermín López as the player in question.

Fermín’s name has of course emerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital early this week.

As much comes after word was forthcoming that the 22-year-old had rebuffed an approach on the part of German champions Bayern Munich.

If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, though, then Fermín’s long-term future at Barcelona nevertheless can’t be guaranteed.

As per a report from Diario Sport, with a lucrative offer on the table on the part of Saudi outfit Al-Ahli:

‘The Blaugrana club would open the doors to him,’ to secure much-needed funds to utilise on other areas of Hansi Flick’s squad.

It is added, though, that the final decision will ultimately be left to Fermín himself.
