Spanish star Pedri is idolised by the Barcelona faithful – so much so that one fan secretly handed the 20-year-old her number when meeting him.

Having already made more than 100 appearances for Barcelona, Pedri is considered among the best players in world football and even won the 2021 Golden Boy award – ahead of Jude Bellingham and Jamal Musiala.

And during his latest meeting with supporters, one woman seemed to secretly hand the Barcelona star a piece of paper.

While it's unclear exactly what was on the paper, it seems pretty likely that it would be her phone number.

A similar situation occurred with Pedri's midfield partner Gavi last year, when one fan decided to make the most of meeting the Spaniard face-to-face.

While he was signing an autograph for the eager woman in question, she handed him a piece of paper – believed to be her number.

Barcelona have been blessed with some of the finest midfielders to ever grace the game over the years and Gavi and Pedri certainly have the potential to become icons in their own right.

The pair are still only young, but have cemented themselves as integral parts of both Xavi's side and the Spanish national team.

Neither player has won the La Liga title to date, however, though Barcelona are currently top of the league this season, having lost just one game so far.

They're also still gunning for Europa League glory, with a second-leg match against Man United to come later this week.

The tie is currently all-square at 2-2, but Barcelona will have to beat an in form United side at Old Trafford if they are to progress.
