Arsenal are also one of the clubs that are keeping tabs on him. Agoume is very happy to be playing in Sevilla, and the Catalan club wants to sign him to add more depth to their midfield.

He did not have a fruitful stay at Inter Milan. However, the move to Sevilla helped him show his true potential to the football world. Sevilla signed him on a loan move in the January transfer window at the start of 2024. The player performed impressively well in his short loan spell at the Andalusian club. Hence, Sevilla decided to get 50% of the rights of the player for just €4 million.

The 22-year-old has a contract running at the club till the summer transfer window of 2028 but is already attracting a lot of interest due to his sheer amount of talent. Hence, he might be on the move even before his contract ends at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

The player has shown excellent defensive attributes, and his biggest attribute has been staying calm and composed with the ball under pressure. He has already played 18 matches for Sevilla. His potential in the midfield and his talent have attracted the eye of some of the most prominent clubs in Europe.

Why do FC Barcelona want to sign him?

Arsenal faces a lot of competition from the Catalan club, Barcelona. Joan Laporta and Hansi Flick are constantly looking for players who can bolster their squad. A young talent like him can definitely be an asset for the Blaugrana.

Barca are looking to get him in the summer of 2025. However, Sevilla can acquire 40% more of the player rights for just €4 million. They might look to do that given that clubs like Arsenal and Barcelona are interested in the player and could give them profits.
