Paris Saint-Germain eased to a 3-0 victory over Stade Brestois in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off on Tuesday night at Stade de Roudourou, with Ousmane Dembélé netting a brace.
Unless Brest pulls off an incredible comeback, PSG are set to face either Barcelona or Liverpool in the Round of 16. The Parisians took the lead early thanks to a penalty from Vitinha. Dembélé then made it 2-0 just before halftime with his 14th goal of 2025.
The goal came after a slick one-touch pass from João Neves to Achraf Hakimi, who sprinted down the right. Hakimi then crossed to Dembélé, who cut inside onto his left foot and fired a powerful shot past Bizot at the near post.
Dembélé continued his strong performance in the second half, adding a second goal in the 66th minute. A one-two with Bradley Barcola didn’t quite come off, but with space in front of him, the 27-year-old surged forward and finished to make it 3-0, bringing his total to 15 goals for the year.
Now, the big question: Can PSG eliminate Barcelona or Liverpool?

ESPN FC’s Frank Leboeuf said he will favor Barcelona or Liverpool to advance past PSG in a potential Round of 16 clash. However, he believes Luis Enrique’s side will give either squad a headache.
“Obviously, for me, it’s going to be very, very difficult,” Leboeuf said on Tuesday. “But I 100 percent agree with [Julien Laurens]; I really think it’s going to be very hard for either Barcelona or Liverpool to go through…
“It’s why I say that it’s possible to see a miracle from Paris Saint-Germain. But if we go by the logic, I would say that no, they won’t go through, I would say, especially Liverpool.”
