Barcelona handed fresh hope of deal for key transfer target | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have this week been afforded renewed hope of finding a deal for a leading member of the club’s summer transfer wishlist.

The player in question? Luis Díaz.

Wide-man Díaz has of course seen his name take its place front and centre in the headlines across Europe over recent days.

As much comes amid alleged interest in his services on the part of both Barcelona, and Bayern Munich.

In the case of the former, the Blaugrana have pivoted back towards the Colombian, after coming up short in efforts to land Nico Williams from Athletic Club.

German champions Bayern, meanwhile, already on the lookout for attacking reinforcements following Leroy Sané’s departure, recently lost Jamal Musiala to a long-term injury, too.

And as alluded to above, this week, both European heavyweights have seen their hopes of landing Díaz boosted.

As per a report from Diario Sport, citing Sky Germany:

‘Luis Diaz’s entourage has informed Liverpool of his decision to leave the club in the event that an interesting offer arrives for all parties.’

It is also noted that, despite prior reports, the 28-year-old has not agreed to the personal terms of a contract with Bayern Munich.
