Barcelona forward Ferran Torres once again proved his worth as he started for the second consecutive match and scored in the thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Levante.
His performance highlighted not only his attacking instincts but also his ability to step up when the team needed him most.
After the victory, Ferran explained how Hansi Flick’s halftime talk inspired the turnaround. “He gave us a couple of tactical nuances because we weren’t completely well-positioned.
“Most importantly, we had to show character, that winning gene. We came out well and were effective,” the striker revealed.
It was clear that Flick’s adjustments and call for greater determination had an immediate impact, as Barcelona came back from behind to secure another three points early in the season.
Ferran also took the opportunity to reflect on his role in the squad and the confidence he has in his own abilities.

“I’ve always believed I can be important in this team. I see myself capable of being a starter, and whenever the manager sees fit, I have to take advantage of it. The competition is very high, but it’s good,” he stated confidently.
The Spaniard then broke down the sequence of his goal, which levelled the score at 2-2 and proved decisive in shifting the game’s momentum.
“In the first half, I was a bit guilty of trying to chip the ball; I should have placed it better.
“On the second goal, which I just watched replayed, Cubarsi made a very good block, and I think it was a great goal and very important for the team,” he concluded.
Torres’ finishing once again underlined his growing importance in Flick’s plans. With fierce competition for starting places, his ability to deliver in back-to-back matches could strengthen his claim for a consistent role in Barcelona’s starting XI this season.
