Supporters of Barcelona have taken to social media once more on Sunday evening, to make their frustrations with alleged inconsistencies in La Liga’s officiating clear.
This comes owing to developments in Real Madrid’s meeting with Las Palmas.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are of course fresh off climbing to the top of the La Liga table, owing to a 4-1 drubbing of Las Palmas in Spain’s capital.
En route to as much, the reigning Spanish champions were awarded their latest spot-kick, owing to a first-half foul on Rodrygo.
And the decision in question has since sparked fresh anger amongst those of a Barcelona persuasion.
As highlighted by the Blaugrana faithful late on Sunday, their side were denied what looked a clear penalty for a challenge on Pau Cubarsí in their own meeting with Las Palmas back in November.
And as much proved hugely costly, as Hansi Flick’s troops were condemned to a shock 2-1 defeat.
This comes fresh off the back of further controversy involving Real Madrid this past Thursday, when Los Blancos were the beneficiaries of what was widely considered to be favourable officiating in a Copa del Rey victory over Celta Vigo.
