The board at La Liga giants Barcelona have reached the collective conclusion that out-of-favour goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen is now actively working against the club’s best interests.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided a fresh insight into the situation.
The name of shot-stopper Ter Stegen has of coure returned to the forefront of the headlines in Catalunya’s capital with a bang over the last 24 hours.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the German had rejected Barcelona’s request to sign the club’s medical report regarding his back injury.
With the parties in disagreement regarding the extent of his incoming absence, Ter Stegen has taken matters firmly into his own hands.
And as alluded to above, in the eyes of those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, this stance comes for altogether selfish reasons.
As per a report from MD, in fact, Joan Laporta and co. believe that:
‘The 33-year-old goalkeeper is acting in bad faith and intending to hinder the registration of Joan Garcia and Szczesny, the two goalkeepers pushing him to leave Barça.’
