Nico Williams’ decision to renew his contract at Athletic Club has once again left Barcelona searching for answers in this summer transfer window.
The Catalans are actively looking for reinforcements in the left-wing position, and the club are dabbling with quite a few options in the market, even after the Nico snub.
A recent report from SPORT has offered an update on Barcelona’s search for a new winger, where they have drawn out all the options the club are looking at the moment.
In total, Barcelona are dabbling with four options in the ongoing transfer market, which includes long-time target Luis Diaz.
Diaz is a personal favourite of sporting director Deco, but his price point has become a major concern for Barcelona, with Liverpool unlikely to consider anything less than €85 million.

This is despite the fact that Diaz himself is keen on leaving the Premier League and joining Barcelona.
The second option is Marcus Rashford, who is liked by Hansi Flick and would perhaps be the most gettable target for Barça.
Although recent speculation has linked him with a move to Fenerbahce, he remains a clear option for Barcelona.
Another option the Catalans have on their radar is Ademola Lookman, who has enjoyed immense success at Atalanta.
However, signing the former Everton winger will be far from straightforward, with Atalanta unlikely to consider a deal below €50 million while Tottenham, too, are interested in his services.

The final option is AC Milan superstar Rafael Leao, another player who has enjoyed immense success in the Serie A.
Leao has been a great servant for Rossoneri over the years and but it might be time to move on. Unfortunately, the Portuguese international could be out of Barcelona’s price-tag range, with Milan valuing him at around €85 million.
There are complications involved with each of the targets mentioned, but the summer is long and Barcelona remain hopeful of striking a deal with at least one of these stars.
