FC Nantes has handed its Senegalese prodigy Bahmed Deuff his first professional contract.
The young midfielder will be tied to the Canaries until 2029, with his contract officially kicking in from 2026.
Here are five things you need to know about FC Nantes' latest Senegalese sensation.
- He joined the Canaries' youth academy in 2014 when he was just 8 years old.
- He made a big impression with various youth squads and especially stood out last season with the U19 team.
- Born in Nouakchott to Senegalese parents, he is eligible to represent three national teams: France, Mauritania, and Senegal.
- He featured in 45 matches across all competitions last season, notching up 2 goals.
