We are looking for football-mad girls across Austria! We are therefore organising, for the first time, a trial for the whole of Austria for our U16w team for the 2026/27 season, in which ambitious young female players born in 2011 and 2012 can take part.

For the first time there will be two different trial dates. Both on Wednesday 27 August (from 17:00 CEST approx.) and on Wednesday 3 September (from 17:00), the talents will have a chance to show what they can do at the Red Bull Football Academy. You will find out after registering and being invited to a trail on which date you can take part.

How does the trial process work

You can register online until Sunday 17 August 2025 at the latest. You will find out soon after submitting your registration or by the time registrations close via email whether you are to be invited to the trial. A doctor's certificate will be essential for anyone taking part in the trial.
Trials will take place on 27 August or Wednesday 3 September (just one date per player) at the Red Bull Academy.
Further steps will be communicated individually to participants after the trial.

It is the same for our girls as it is with the boys - an academic and vocational education alongside the footballing one is a key part of developing youngsters in our society. After the children have completed their Unterstufe schooling, there are cooperations with the following partner schools:

Christian-Doppler-Gymnasium (Oberstufe: SSM Sport for Football)
Private Fachschule für Wirtschaft und Leistungssport der AK Salzburg am BFI Salzburg (technical school leaving certificate + apprenticeship as office and sports administrator)

Additional info

Female footballers who are still in the third class of the Unterstufe level should not change schools!
Our boarding cooperation partner is Kolpinghaus Salzburg.
Players will find out what to bring to the trial if they are invited after registration.
