Augsburg’s Alexis Claude-Maurice on the list to replace Enzo Millot at VfB Stuttgart | OneFootball

Sport Bild reports that VfB Stuttgart see Augsburg’s Alexis Claude-Maurice as a potential replacement for Enzo Millot, who could leave in the summer.

Millot, like seemingly most Stuttgart players, has a release clause in his contract that is said to be worth around €20m, and there is a possibility that he could leave in the summer.

Claude-Maurice is said to be at the top of Stuttgart’s list of potential players who could replace Millot if he is to leave in the summer. Claude-Maurice only joined Augsburg on a free transfer in the summer and is the club’s top scorer with nine goals already this season. Most recently, the 26-year-old scored a hat-trick in Augsburg’s 3-0 win against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

However, Claude-Maurice is not the only player that Stuttgart are watching. The other two can be found in the 2.Bundesliga with Ibrahim Maza of Hertha Berlin and Elversberg Muhammed Damar both of interest to VfB. Both would also likely be a lot cheaper to sign than the Frenchman.
