Atlético Madrid make contact over possible deal for AC Milan star | OneFootball

La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have made initial contact over the potential signing of a member of the defensive ranks at AC Milan.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who point towards Theo Hernández as the player in question.

Theo, for his part, looks increasingly likely to be on the move this summer, having evidently fallen out of favour amongst those behind the scenes at San Siro.

A move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal has been heavily touted, with the basic framework of a deal already in place between the parties.

Theo himself, however, is yet to give the green light to a move to the Middle East.

And as much, it would appear, has opened the door for one of Spanish football’s leading clubs to enter the fray.

As per MD:

‘Atlético de Madrid have made inquiries about the defender, his price, and his willingness to return to the club, but nothing is concrete at this time.’
