Atletico Madrid are on an incredible run of form, having won their last 11 matches across all competitions. They are right in the hunt for the La Liga title, and should Diego Simeone be able to add to his squad during the upcoming winter transfer window, that could provide another spark.

In recent weeks, the idea of recruiting a new midfielder has been speculated upon in relation to Atleti, although they could now move for an attacker instead. As per TBR Football, club bosses are considering a shock move to bring Marcus Rashford to the Metropolitano for the second half of the season.

Earlier this week, Rashford publicly stated that he has thought about leaving Man United, where he is not seeing too much action.
